High quality graphic design is an important part of producing striking and distinctive signs for schools and Sirocco with an in-house design team can work with you and your initial ideas to create really striking designs.  Our use of full colour printers rather than the lower specification self adhesive vinyl provides us with an extensive set of design options for full colour and striking images.

The main school sign is often located outside the school gate and needs therefore to be additionally robust and durable.  At Sirocco we work with both Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) and Duraseal which is a digitally printed aluminium to produce tough main entrance signs that can be easily cleaned and graffiti removed easily if necessary.  Both the GRP and aluminium signs are treated with tough protective coatings that make them ideal for these applications.

Once inside the school grounds the demands for anti vandalism measures tends to fall although signs must still be robust and must offer excellent colour fastness.  Most internal school signs are produced on Dibond, printed in full colour and given an over lacquer protective layer.  These school signs are intended to direct both students, staff and visitors around the site or campus in a clear and efficient manner.  Many internal school signs will be wall mounted but posts and directional finger posts are also used on a regular basis.

Internal of the buildings signs are also required with door and class room signs being the most common.  Notice boards or display cases to present changeable information are also required.  Notice boards for schools can be supplied in timber or aluminium and are normally hinged, lockable and glazed with shatterproof polycarbonate.
