Welcome to the world of decorated stone.  Working in granite, slate and sandstone we sandblast and rout a wide variety of signs, entrance plaques, paving slabs and decorative items.  Smaller scale slate plaques can also be printed in full colour while the larger signs are handpainted or left unpainted with the contrast of the stone highlighting the lettering.

Stone signs are tough, robust and offer a highly individual solution.  We have produced sandblasted stone signs for country parks, nature reserves and open spaces.  Decorated and sandblasted stone signs in granite, sandstone and slate have also been used for industrial estates, business parks and retail outlets.  Stone signs with sandblasted graphics offer a really robust sign solution that are difficult to vandalise and, on most surfaces, allow graffiti to be easily cleaned off.

Where ever possible we try to source stone for sandblasted signs from local quarries.  It is important that stone used in consistent with stone in the customers locality but environmental issues mean that sometimes stone sourced near to the Sirocco factory is more efficient for the sandblasted sign process.   

In addition to large scale entrance signs slate can be used for decorative items and is ideal for giftware, prizes and souvenir.  Souvenirs in slate and stone are a high value item with the option for etched, sandblasted and printed graphics.  This option fits well with our dye-sublimation items which provide the opportunity to decorate mugs, pottery, tee shirts and other items.

Sandblasted stone signs can also provide an interesting opportunity  to provide highly individual framing structures and lectern frames.  Sandblasted sign lectern frames can be decorated with natural history or historical themed illustrations.  Sandstone provides a good base for these lectern frames but clients need to remember issues of weight and logistics when installing
